Pal just bought new Toshiba laptop with Vista installed.

Apparently OE is no more and its replaced by Windows mail.

I am about to guide him(i have not seen Vista) so I assume he needs to go to start/progs/windows mail/send s/c to desktop.

Then open WM/tools/accounts/mail/etc etc just like OE so how am I doing.

I read somewhere that OE may transfer his a/c to WM, is that true and possible??

Yes, it's much the same wording as OE and the Contacts and Mail Boxes can be imported.

Actually, you can just type Mail into the search bar on the start button and it will give you a link. No need to drill down through menus - that's one of the great things about Vista.

Kate is right, Vista may have a few driver issues, but Windows Mail is easy to set up.... If you have a pen drive you could use that, but should not be needed.
