Where has the Start/Run command gone to in Vista please.

On the start where it says start/search which is also a command box.

Eg. Try typing msconfig in the search box and the program will appear for you to activate above it.

I have also located it under Srart/Accesories (Why MS?) and have created a shortcut to my desktop.

When I search for the regedit command, all I get is a short list of items, not the same list as under other versions of Windows.
How do I find something like the old system, there are some items in the registry I need to delete.

Then click on customize scroll down to and select run comand apply and ok you should have the run comand below help and support.
