i'm running windows xp at moment and want to know if the programs i'm running are available for windows 7. how do i check please? make it simple cos i'm not technically minded! thanks

Download and run MS Compatability Advisor.

Any queries come back - most programmes are ok. I prefer the 64 bit version as it allows more RAM, but 32 bit programmes run on it OK.

also look on softwares own web page should say which os it can run on.

also don't forget that on win7(professinal or ultimate or enterprise only) you can download xp mode which runs virtualy on win7 tricking programs to thinking that it is xp.
crossbow7 will know about it as I dont have it yet but soon will.
only prob with it through, your prossecors have to be up the job and relativly new.
