How do I, if it is possible, slipstream windows 8 with windows 8.1 and windows 8.1 update 1, so I can integrate software updates with the original installation media. I tried to download and create a windows 8.1 .ISO image from the Microsoft website, but apparently, I cannot use my Windows 8 product key for this. click here Thank you for any help.

As above don't think its possible.

Best bet is to make a recovery disk

link to recovery disk doesn't work: If you don't have a Windows 8.1 product key, you can't create installation media. You can't use a Windows 8 product key for this

ria , win 8 is a different operating system to 8.1. Win 8 is sold with a key and so is 8.1. Upgrading makes no difference so you will need to create an image or reinstall 8 and go through the updates again.
