Sending email using web links

When I click on a link to send an email from a web page it tries to start up Outlook 2003. How can I get it to open my BTmail program instead?

Outlook 2003 is an email client program on your pc that is why it opens.

BT mail is webmail not an email client program so you can't make that the default AFAIK

Do you use Outlook 2003 to collect/send your emails? or do you open your Browser and go to BT mail webpage?

Thanks for the replies. I don't use Outlook 2003 at all and get my emails by opening my browser (Google Chrome) and then onto the BTmail page. How do I make this the default?

" How do I make this the default?"

Sadly you can't make a web browser a default email client.

However, there is a workaround. In Chrome right-click on the email link, choose "Copy email address", go into BT Mail, create a new message then paste it into the "To" box.
