Reinstalled W7 but Internet not connecting, Ethernet Driver missing

  naveen73 23:52 25 May 14

I reinstalled my Windows 7 pc and all of a sudden I am not able to connect to the Internet. On the Net I found that other people who had the same problem found out that Ethernet drivers are missing.

When I look at my Device Manager my ethernet adapter has exclamation marks and when I look at the properties it says "Unknown" as to what type it is.

I do not know what to do further. Please help.

Thanks, Nav

Use the motherboard disc that came with your PC. If a laptop you can restore to factory settings via the hidden partition or the discs you should have burnt.

If you don't have the mobo disk, you should be able to find the ethernet driver on the PC manufacturer's website, save it to a dongle then install on the PC with the problem.
