Odd Network Adapter problem under Win 7

Hi all.

Just noticed an odd issue with my network card. It's an integrated card on an ASUS P5B-E Plus and according to Device Manager is a Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller.

Dont know why I haven't noticed before but when the card has power there is a slight electronic buzz, very like the noise the old 56k dial-up modems used to make only a lot quiter. This electronic sound is being transferred into my speakers and is driving me nuts. The buzzing and clicking (for want of better terms) exactly matches the flashing of the activity light on the adapter.

However, and here's the odd bit, it's ONLY under Windows 7 I'm having this issue. If I boot back into Vista, nothing. Quiet as a mouse. I've tried updating the driver and Device Manager tells me I have the latest one (dated Feb 23rd 2009).

Any ideas? Can't be doing with this on a permanent basis when 7's released officially. It'd drive me scatty.
