No Desktop Option In 'Save As' menu.

I am using Windows 7 and Office 2007. When I want to save a document and the 'save as' box comes up there is no option to save on the desktop by default. I have to go to windows c>users> desktop etc.. to save it. A bit long winded wouldn't you agree? What can I do about this please? Thanks.

Open "Save as" > Decide upon the name you want to use > on the left is a list of your Folders > Navigate to "Desktop" > It will highlight in blue > Double Click it > Bob's y'er Uncle.

This allows you to hold something on your Desktop until you complete it and drop it into your Filing System
