Hi

We have just bought my brother a new Packard Bell 2310 PC with a 160Gb hard drive capacity and an 8-in-1 media card and a processor speed of 3Ghz and a 4Mb cache. It has windows vista, he uses bt internet with a voyager 210 router (which after reading suggestions is now connected with ethernet cable)
we seem to be able to connect to the internet intermitantly mainly using Internet Explorer as we don't seem to be able to use the BT browser (or don't know how to do it) sometimes it works and sometimes it won't bring up any webpages saying cannot display the webpage. also having problems with the images, quite often pictures do not show up just that little red cross in the corner.

I have tried to look through the other answers but can't find anything that fits this, I am a bit of a beginner but do know my way around the basics.

Any help would really be appreciated

Thanks

Sue

Try this:

Open a Command Prompt window ("Start > Run", type CMD and click OK. At the prompt type...

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable

...and press Enter"

[To reset to the default settings...

netsh int tcp reset

...and press Enter]
