MS Project 2007 Standard Installation Failure

I have a Sony Vaio laptop running Vista HP SP1. I have purchased and installed Office 2007 Enterprise and all works well. I have now purchased Project 2007 and that installs fine but upon running it seems to get into a loop and then reports that there is insufficient memory to continue. I noticed on a number of forums others having the same problem. I rang Microsoft was given a case number but alas to this date they have not got a clue what to do (They mentioned about being bogged down with problems.) So has anyone else got any ideas? Next step will be Trading Standards!!! (Fit for purpose, me thinks not)

Solved. It was the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT entries for MS Project. User permissions were missing for ALL the MSProject keys. Re-applied and alls well :-)
