Make DVD with Windows 8

I have been trying to make a DVD of some photos with Windows 8. I have tried a couple of the downloads, but they are very expensive to buy for just the couple of things I will need. I have downloaded Windows Movie maker, but although that seems to do what I want, I cannot get it to burn on to a DVD. And Windows do not seem to have a DVD download for Win 8. I could really use some help here as these are photos I took of my nieces wedding and I want to put them on for family that are not online.

Save your file from Movie maker and then try imgburn to burn to DVD. I find it very good.

Have you tried the free Serif MoviePlus? it works very well. There is no obligation to buy anything but you will be nagged by pop up screens and emails to buy the latest version. If you can ignore those then this is a good programme.
