...how quickly one can get used to something.

I had to go back to XP this evening, and when I opened Explorer, for a moment I wondered where the disk icons had gone. Using the start menu to open up Programs has never bothered me before, but now it looks ugly - and in IE the favourites button is in the wrong place! Even Freecell - for the first game I kept trying to tap and drag instead of just tapping.

Just a mild observation.

Once you've used Vista, Windows XP seems a little clunky and unattractive.

well that would depend on how u installed Vista on your machine? did u create a seperate partition beforehand? or did u do an upgrade? cos I have 5 operating systems on my machine which are: XP Pro, XP Pro x64, Media Center 2005, Vista 5728 x86 (going back to RC1 soon!) and Vista RC1 x64. and when I go from one to the other everything is just how I left it. its all sweet.
