How are you viewing your emails? Is this webmail or Windows Live Mail or some other email client?

A Question: When you try to Save to your PC, where are you telling the PC to save it to?

You'll probably find that you have many saved files at the location specified, which is unlikely to be the one you expected, but will be shown if you carefully look at the panel that opens up when you first "Right Click" and gives you to option to rename the file.

thanks for your reply, the system actually doesn't give me any options, it just runs a scan then stops, i have looked in most of the folders that would normally be a recipient of downloads but nothing appears

Golfer, the default location for downloads is usually your "Downloads" folder. Try this:

Click your Start button, click on your username top-right of the menu, then double-click on the Downloads folder icon.
