HP & McAfee - Sleeping or comatose giants?

Now, we all know that Vista has been on its way for at least 5 years but HP and McAfee are still asleep. Microsoft's Vista Upgrade Advisor failed to identify that McAfee Internet Security Suite 2007 was incompatible. So it's a bit alarming when Vista is installed to discover you have no anti-virus protection. Thanks goodness Norton, Kaspersky and others were prepared. Alright, so McAfee are now talking to Microsoft but too little too late. HP fare little better but at least Vista has in-built drivers for my Photosmart 2575. I daresay everyone has their own memorable experiences of installing Vista and when we next come to buy hardware or software we should remember these sleeping giants.
