How Peculiar!

I have been trying for the last few weeks, on and off, to install the 64 bit version of Win7, but every time it hung, or reset, at somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 of completion.

Tried all the usual - all peripherals disconnected, memory and other cards checked, even tried another retail copy but all to no avail.

Today in desperation, I left the language screen at the default, US, and just clicked through.

It installed like a dream!

Now surely it can't just be a coincidence (we're talking at least a dozen previous attempts) but on the other hand, language selection surely can't affect proper installation?
