Hide a disk drive from the Task Manager? - Windows 8.1

Ok, so I have a standard disk drive (disk 0), where all my files are, and a small capacity SSD (disk 1) to speed up my system. The task manager shows both, even though the small SSD is practically never used. It screws up the percentages: 50% disk usage would be 100% for disk 0 and 0% for disk 1. I wish to hide disk 1 from the task manager. Is that possible?

Try disk management and un assign the drive a letter. Windows shouldn't 'see' it then.

I tried that, but it is already unassigned and hidden. It only seems to exist in the Task Manager.
