Hibernate Question - Monitor needs switching back on

Hi all, when I hibernate my machine, I set it so it comes back on only with the PC's power button, I press this and get the boot screens and resuming windows appears.

Then the display goes off and I have to press the power button twice on the monitor. Pressing it once does nothing, so it's as if I have to turn it off with a blank screen then turn it back on. It's a HKC monitor and displays the HKC screen when I turn the monitor back on.

Are you saying that if you move the mouse or hit a key on the keyboard the display does not come back on (after the resume and subsequent display going off).

No this doesn't help I tried clicking, left clicking, enter, space various other keys and it doesn't come on.

Pressing the monitor button once doesn't help but pressing it a second time the monitor comes back on.

It's a wireless keyboard and mouse if that helps? Their set to not interrupt the computer from hibernation in device manager.

Thanks
