Hasn't 'it gone quiet?

Windows 7 seems to be coming along nicely if recent Forum posts are an indicator . Only a few issues raised over the past fortnight

As far as I can see, having used it since May on a number of PCs, it seems the answer to our prayers after Vista, ie stable, intuitive to use and much cheaper to buy ,especially if preordered.

After the fraught introduction of Vista Microsoft appear to have learned a lesson or two. Maybe we can raise a glass with confidence when the final OS is released on 22 October. I just hope they have really sorted out the 64bit version which seemed to be a bit more 'iffy'

I agree it's the best Windows yet; whether we will be able to raise a glass on 22 October is another matter!

MS have a nasty habit of "improving" things to the point of unusability!
