Very handy new forum.
A simple question - I have the Vista Beta on a spare machine, the latest RC1 download is not recognised by the oldish DVD-ROM drive in the spare machine, so until I swap for a newer drive I can't install it. Does it install over the top of the Beta, or simply upgrade various elements? The reported improvement in overall speed will be very welcome on my fairly low-spec machine.

On the vista website, it was advised to burn the vista image at the slowest speed as there have been some problems with the disks being read when burnt at high speed.

I would do a clean install so to be sure of getting rid of any bugs that have been sorted
