Getting CCleaner to run automatically at startup

  Florio 16:52 09 Nov 08

I'm trying to get rid of the annoying message that comes up every time I start up my computer; I want to run CCleaner automatically, but I'm always asked to authorise execution of the program.
I've been to Control Panel -- Programs -- Change Startup Programs, and notice that CCleaner is listed, but is unclassified, i.e. not allowed. How can I change its classification and get the program to run without my having to authorise it?

Right click the shortcut, choose Properties, click Advanced, tick Run As Administrator

Alternatively you can have it run and shutdown the computer itself when it's finished so there's need to run at startup.

Probably still requires the above steps to ensure it's running with admin privileges.
