Easy just use chrome after your initial learning curve you'll never go back Explorer.your also on a very old version of Explorer try updating it,from memory i think 10 or 11 are the latest versions.

It can be the sign that your system might be the victim of virus attack or some other corrupt file. Ill recommend that you better re-install your explorer and upgrade to the latest version.

I think you'll find that the OP's issue is with Explorer.exe not iexplore.exe.

Animalthewolf - what version of Windows is that on? Sounds like Windows 7 to me, but please confirm.

Mole & Alex, the OP has a problem with Windows Explorer - not Internet Explorer.

Animalthewolf, run a scan with the free version of Malwarbytes' Anti-Malware, remove everything it finds and post back. Here is the direct link to the download page. Note that when installing MBAM, untick the option for the free trial of the Pro (paid-for) version.
