Here we go again. A dredded error on a Windows update. It seems to concern my Vidio driver (Nvidia). I keep trying to install it but it continually fails. And now it keeps saying I have a download to install - all very annoying.
I am dealing with a new Dell PC, so my info. is from their help site.
It does seem to refer to the nVidia MCP SATA controller. ( per the M/s info)
There is a new driver listed for the MCP dated September. But there is another new driver listed for the graphics Card dated 06 11 07. Both are listed as recommended. In the Uninstall list (In the control) only one nVidia driver is listed. So, what do you think I should do.
I assume that the old driver should be removed prior to installing a new one?
