Epson SX 105 - Vista driver problem

I have an Epson SX105 printer/scanner and have downloaded the correct drivers from Epson UK.

After installing the software the drivers are not being installed correctly in Device Manager. During the printer installation it gives me the option to choose a port manually but a USB port is not listed.

The Epson site support is down today but seems really unhelpful when it does work.

Has anybody managed to get the above printer working with Vista or had the same problem?

Are you using Vista 32 bit or 64 bit?
The Epson support site is available for me.

I don't have an SX105 but it is a fairly recent model and should have come with the required software/drivers on the CD. It is important to follow the correct order of installation on the guide which tells you to not connect the uSB cable until the software teklls you to.
