DVD drive nuisance

Is there any way to stop the infernal message telling me there is no disc in the drive every time I eject. It happens on this desktop and both my laptops.

I can Continue - Retry - Cancel.

It started happening on all of them after a set of updates, but I don't know which one caused it.

Grateful for any help.

Sorted thanks

Start -> Control Panel (if you are using Classic View, skip to step 4) -> System and Maintenance -> Performance Information and Tools -> Manage Startup Programs (on the left under Tasks).

Search through the Startup Programs Category for CorelIOMonitor.exe and change it to disabled. You might have to click the button "Show for all users" to be able to disable it (it will be greyed out otherwise).

Also remember to terminate CorelIOMonitor.exe in your Task Manager or wait until you reboot.
