Dual Boot XP/Vista - Vista Partition Size

  foxy53 22:04 22 Apr 07

In the April Edition of PCA it described how to dual boot XP/Vista, but didn't say the size of the partition for Vista, any suggestion? My hard drive is 320 GB with approx 140 GB used.

Also any suggestions on pitfalls to watch out for when creatingthe dual boot would be useful, note I'm not very computer savvy so please keep it simple!!

You should run the Vista Upgrade advisor (link above)
With your large harddrive I think you should make it 30gb which is what I believe the advisor will recommend. I had no problems as Vista loaded automatically making Vista the default operating system on boot. I changed that to XP as I wanted to see how Vista shaped up with my programs and hardware. No problems with six year old scanner and printers but will not recognise Asus TV card even with updated drivers.
