Drawing on a PC

  FillT 05:13 08 Feb 14

I used to have an Archimedes Computer the A5000

There was a drawing package built into it called Draw latter there was an update to it called Draw+ not much room for confusion with the old Arcs.

Im looking for a similar package that will run in Windows Vista. MS's Paint just does not compare to Draw. No grids no locking to grinds no layeringthats just for starters.

I don't mind buying one if i can try it first but a free download is the preferred option.

Any ideas anyone please?

Tried to register on here but it keeps failing.

Have a look at Inkscape. I don't use it myself so can't recommend or otherwise.

thanks i'll look into it.

I amazed that there seems to not be a good drawing package for PCs included in the OS or that does not cost a fortune.

You could always try Serif DrawPlus for free but expect to be reminded quite frequently that their paid version is better and has more features.
