Defragmenter dtarts with Vista

Vista Ultimate - Every time I start Vista, the disk defragmemeter start, I have turned off the scheduling, but I can't stop it from starting. Any ideas as to how I can stop it please.

I think you may find its the Superfetch in action;

To stop this service;

start and type

services and enter

Scroll through to Superfetch and stop the service.

Exit Services.

Reboot the computer,does this help ?

I dont think you can stop Vista defrag,well havnt come across anything that suggests you can.
