custom cursors

Hi

Since I've had my Vista laptop I have not been able to keep my custom cursors beyond the current session.
They are saved with a named theme and are always there, but they need to be reset every time I turn the computer on.
Is there any way to set things to keep my cusors and stop defaulting to Vista's cursors?

You might not have permission to edit the files or folders which these cursors locate to, make sure your logged in as an administrator.

Hi everyone. After all this time I have just found the answer! I will post it here in case it helps anyone else.

Simply place your custom cursors into the folder -

C:\Windows\Cursors
