Creating borders in windows 7

A friend says that she cannot create a border to a windows document in Windows 7. Presumably she is using M/S word. Can anyone help?

She usually produces an invitation to the annual Christmas lunch with a border of Christmas trees around the page.

Many thanks.

What version of Word is she using?

Sorry, I haven't the faintest idea, but think that it will be the latest as it came with a new laptop.

I have Word 2007 and don't know how to make a border, so can we start with that.

Open Word, click on the ? top right and type in borders. This will give you the help files on how to create borders.

Many thanks, Bremner. I like the art option with Christmas trees. I think that she mayt have the latest (?2010)version. I am writing to ask her.

I have just found the page at click here, which may answer her problem, as I think that she must have 2010.
