So confused, my computer is connecting to the wifi, but won't let me access the Internet. The network map shows my computer, then a u identified network, ??? Then a red x that won't connect to Internet. It says private network....I didn't set any network or workgroup settings, I have no idea what's going on......Help!

it is possible you have connect to a different wireless network rather than your own.

scan for networks select your own network from he list and enter the passkey (passwor/no.)

you should then be connected and can access the internet.

Have you entered an incorrect WPA code. Try reconnecting from scratch and reentering it.

Disconnect any wired connection and Right click on the Network icon in the bottom right hand corner. Select your network name and click on "Connect" then re-input your WPA password.
