Changes to appearance of IE7 etc

Vista Home Premium.

I have just carried out a defrag with AusLogics for the first time and the next time I booted up I noticed that the top of IE7 which shows what site you are at is now black and I am sure it was blue before. Also the address bar is now grey and I am sure this was white before. Office 2007 also appears to have turned black at the top of the screen.

What's going on?

Is it reversible?

System Restore is not an option as it hasn't worked reliably for months!

It's black, or rather a very dark blue if Aero is running. If things were set to Vista basic (non aero) then it's light blue.

That is for maxed windows, in the restore down (ie not minimised or maxed) it goes light blue again.

As a final PS (sorry) if you want to keep the lighter colour which I have for windows on my second screen I simply stretch out the window to fit rather than maxing it.

The window will stay light blue or what ever colour scheme you have chosen in "appearance and personalisation" in control panel.

Spot on the window was maxed. I never knew it did that and I have been fiddling all weekend to try and fix it!!

Well done.
