If your running Vista.....

Control Panel>UserAccounts>Change Your Name

to change account name in XP...

1. Click the "Start" menu.
2. Select "Control Panel".
3. When the Control Panel appears, select "User Accounts".
4. When the "User Accounts" window appears, underneath "Or pick an account to change", click your account name.
5. Click "Change my name".
6. Enter in a new account name and click "Change Name".

hope this helps!

If you are familiar with editing a PC's registry, the "Registered Owner" can be changed in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion
