blue background when visiting certain websites

when I visit certain websites my laptop defaults to a blue background and this makes it difficult to read the text

If you are using Firefox you could try this -

Go to: Tools - Options - Content

Under 'Fonts & Colours' click the 'Colours...' button

Next to where it says 'Background:' click the button with the coloured box inside it

Select the colour that you want the backgrounds to appear as (e.g white)

Click 'OK' and 'OK' again

internet explorer and it is normally ebay

I don't get that problem. Possibly a compatibility problem IE11 use compatibility view but I suspect a different reason possibly an add-on. Have you tried IE without add-ons?
