Black bars either side of video.

Whenever I watch video , wether its through video players such as wmp winamp vlc or through web browsers , ie youtube ect I get black bars eitherside of the video even when I veiw on full screen.

I have an xfx nvideo 7800 GTX using Vista home premium with the latest drivers.

Any suggestions on how I can view video without the black bars either side ?

VLC media player for Windows click here

When the Video is playing, Right click mouse in viewing area, Select Video, Aspect Ratio, 16:10 does it for me (Wide Screen Monitor).
