Belkin USB Adaptor problem!!!

We currently have the Belkin G+ USB adaptor running on a new vista computer..
..our internet is through sky and so is the modem package..
...The Belkin adaptor works fine a few times your on the computer and then after about 3 computer start ups and goes on the internet the Belkin adaptor in what can only be said dies.
Iv tried it on another computer and its dead.
It happend not long ago so we thought it was a faulty adaptor..replaced it and its happend again..
...any ideas guys???

Perhaps the USB sockets are giving out too much power and frying the adapters , which makes it a motherboard problem .

I have a belkin WG111v2 usb adapter and many times had internet drops etc i think its partly down to vista having new features like ipv8 creating more complex ip addresses, my main problems were network keys and trying to locate ips
