Asus Motherboard

I have had my present System for about 18 months. It has a Asus P5K motherboard, I have not updated the bios yet. What benifits would I gain by updating. The system is running correctly at present. Would I gain any increase in overall speed, stability or additional facilities. Advice please. Thanks

if you don't have any issues leave well alone, if you go to the asus site they should tell you what issues the updates fix. i only do it when new hardware if not recognised or running properly. if they go wrong you may get a won't boot situation.
don't flash if you're not sure what you're doing.
never flash if windows is unstable, ie a week without a crash.
disable everything running av etc if flashing from with windows.
and don'y flash if your system is running fine.
