running vista home premium 64 bit on a desktop pc, I have recently obtained an asus pw201 20" flat screen monitor incorporating an asus usb 2.0 1.3 megapixel webcam,
I have downloaded the latest drivers and a program that came with the monitor, Life Frame, no matter what I try I cannot get the webcam to work, I have tried asus forums; click here
and click here, the latter mentions the Fn key, I don't have this on my keyboard, do I need annother program to run the webcam, the manual doesn't mention anything, just how to plug the usb cable for the webcam into the monitor and the pc.
can anybody help please, all help gratefully accepted

A quick Google search seems to indicate a lot of problems with webcams and the Life Frame software - they just don't work!

Try Yawcam click here which I've found to be quite good - used with the built-in webcam in my Netbook (Win 7) and with a Logitech camera connected to my Laptop (Win XP). It should automatically detect any connected webcam.

Incidentally, the Fn key is only present on Laptop keyboards, where certain keys have a dual function.
