Advice on driver unverified driver installation.

I am trying to install a specialised application ( PIC Programmer ) from the supplied discs. All OK until the final click when UAC ( In red it's not happy ) say's an unverified driver is attempting to install. I click "yes accept" and the UAC box only goes away for a second then keeps returning. If I am very very quick I can click restart to finalise the application ( I remove the CD at this point ) but upon restarting the UAC box is back.
Any tips, should I turn off UAC before installing.

Run the installation exe as administrator by right clicking.

Thanks for replying. It's all been a bit involved one way and another. The application seemed to trigger Windows update which repeatedly told me to install KB954430 which already was successfully installed. Quite a bit on MS support about that problem.
Then Windows update wouldn't work -- new update agent required -- installed that and that's OK now.
Drivers --yes, I am hoping that's sorted too. Did all the above re UAC, run as admin, turn off security etc etc. The UAC box eventually went on it's own, whether it finally installed the problem drivers I don't know. In the end the drivers that were causing the problem are I suspect not needed anyway. It turns out they are for another piece of hardware I shall not be using anyway. After all this the PIC programmer upon first connecting seemed to let Windows find drivers from it's own store anyway -- and from what I can tell I think all's working.
So thanks again for the replies, I have learnt more in the last few days than the last 12 months.
