Acestream stopped working on Windows 10

I used Acestream a lot on Windows 7, but since the free Windows 10 upgrade I get sound but no video, just a blank white screen. Also, Minecraft launches but I do not get the actual game screen up, I suspect that these 2 things are connected but I can't find anything on the web to help ? Any help gratefully accepted, otherwise I will be restoring Win 7 back.

Acestream issue is resolved, the settings in Acestream were messed up by the Windows install, took a while to find which ones, but ok now. Minecraft still won't open up though.
