I was looking for this info (Why do we cry) because I could not work out why my eyes leak when I recall trauma or hurt myself.

It is interesting and there are other sites with info. I just thought I would see what happens in here. I can't say I know the answer yet as I cannot link the emotion to the teardrop.

And I won't be upset if you don't read it. ;)

so the rule doesn't apply to me. I weep unashamedly when the film director decides I should, or when I hear certain music. My wife says it's OK because I do it silently and manfully - tears but nothing else.
