I've just been reading the very good review on the Foxconn GeForce 8800 GTX - not that I'm about to buy one, but it's always good to know about the latest developments.Apart from the excellent review, (and the mind blowing 681m transistors) what struck me was:"This review appears in the February issue of PC Advisor, available now in all good newsagents."We haven't quite reached Christmas yet and February's issue is already out.Why don't you just publish December 2007's issue in January and we can forget about the rest of the year! (said in jest).Seriously though, two months ahead? It's a bit of a joke; almost like the sales on Boxing day trying to persuade me £99.99p is a lot less than £100!
Never quite understood it myself.
rised many times...One explanation offered, which I'm comfortable with, is to think of it as a "Best before" date. And then stop worrying!Regards,Simsy
there are more important things in the world.
why not just number issue's & leave out the month.
There used to be a spring issue, so when the gap became too far ahead, they stuf that in to correct it and then some other issue to puc it back to normal.Bob
