Most of what's been mentioned, Shark being the one I've not tried. Probably the most unusual was piranha on a trip down the Orinoko

Calves Brain.
Sheeps Heart.
Sweetbreads. (NOT Bread, I assure you).
Tripe.
Bulls Tasticles.
Caviar. (stinks!)
Pigs Trotters.
Haggis! yummy.

...I was a chef, we ate what we cooked so we knew what it should taste like. Revolting mostly in my opinion but the officers seemed to like it.

Hanx!

Shark steaks are nice. Had a curry in Sri-Lanka, heavan knows what the meat was that was in it!

in a Beijing restaurant where nobody spoke a single word of English.

I thought I was ordering duck, and I was right, I just didn't realise that I hadn't specified which part of the duck. When the feet arrived they looked like...well, feet. I would love to round the story out by saying they were surprisingly tasty, but I can't - they were absolutely awful.
