It appears that many of the red coloured seats will have to be replaced as they are fading to pink already. Looks like only the highest quality products have been used, hope the concrete is genuine.

Anywhere between 10000 and 17000 depending which paper you read. The builder is paying for the replacements. This comes on top of 5000 that had to be replaced earlier. It's the 'posh' padded seats that are affected.

They must have used the same contractor that built the Scottish Parliament in which part of the roof collapsed.

Pink suits AIG!

Jak-1

Why?

  Forum Editor 15:16 10 May 07

It has nothing to do with the contractor - the fading is believed to have been caused by a problem with the way the dye reacted to the recent strong sunshine.

I'm sure it will all be sorted out quite easily.

What is it with red? It seems to happen with cars as well.

As an Evertonian, I would just like to say red is a lousy colour.

I bet they didn't get the red dye using this method click here

As a adopted liverpudlian, red rules LOL
