Webcams - the future

How long do you think before webcams will be virtually live? The Panama Canal high definition is refreshed every 30 seconds, for example.

OK, it's very slow moving traffic anyway, but a busy street in a village in India which could be viewed as if live on TV would be amazing. What I have in mind is something like this click here
I don't think that is real, though, it is dark in India at the moment!

I cant recall the exact code but it was typed into google & produced all kinds of webcam images.I found a webcam that allowed me to view the starting line of a UK rally,numerous garage forecourts,university campus and a host of others.I'll try find the post I made several years ago on another forum as it has the code.

Camvista is a good site for live cams, has lists of international live cams as well as ones that feature animals, peoples houses and alot more.
