Bet the press put it on the front pages tomorrow and begin a witch hunt for somebody's job. I'd rather not know particularly if it's going to hit us anywhere nearby and cause massive loss of life. There's nothing we could do about it.

and although almost 45,000 miles is classed as a very near miss in terms of an asteroid fly-by it's far enough away not to have given anyone in the know cause for concern.
