Volume Cap on Zen Vision M

i was wanting to know why the european firmware for the zen vision m has a volume cap on it because when u install the north american version the volue cap goes away so i did and the zen's volume is soo loud so does anyone know why the zen's eurpoean vesrsion had a volume cap?

I think they put volume caps in place to stop people damaging their hearing from using it too loud thus stopping people suing Creative. However, it's strange how they took the cap off the Americans - I thought it would be the other way round as Americans would be more likely to sue. I've got an iRiver H10 and I don't think it has a volume cap on it - as you turn the volume up there's an on-screen knob that goes from 0-40 which is loud enough for me. I usually use it at 25 anyway.

strange... when it had the volume cap i had it on about 17 for desent volume but now its 10 lol. i dont want to krank the volume up full with the earphone's on i only do that on the 5.1 surround sound :) and it sounds great
