Strange image on BBC news web site

Well the image is not strange but when I look at it for a few moments it seems to be receding as if it is a time lapse video, I have checked that it is definitely a JPEG image.

Does anyone else get the same illusion?

Image of Neptune.

It gives you the impression that it is turning a shade darker.

What are you guys on - and where can I get some??!

  BT 17:53 11 Jul 11

I'll have some as well.

Just looks like a still picture to me.

  Legolas 18:12 11 Jul 11

It was still a still image when I looked.

Yes, for about 20 seconds it does appear to get smaller then stops. Must be due for an eye test! Spooky!

Some people will experience this, and others will not. It depends on the state of your vision, what you were looking at a second before, and how/where you focus on the image.

Alternatively, it could be a warning that the mushrooms you had today were not all that they seemed.
