Thanks, took another look, you have to squint your eyes to see it , yes it looks like presistent. I know nothing about asus but found this link.

I used CTRL + scroll to shrink the image slightly, easier to see the text that way, I was squinting too and couldn't see it at first.

Asus make loads of IT related kit from Monitors to graphics cards to Net-books.
