I have two email addresses. One for people I know (that one gets a couple of messages a month) and one that came with my isp (many years ago) that I hardly ever check.

Just forgot a password and requested it to my isp email address. 14369 messages in my junk mail folder, 910 in the inbox (and only 62% of my total message space taken up), must see how many lotteries I have won and how much free Viagra I'm entitled to.

No real point to this except, junk mail has now become so ridiculuos it is a joke, how can people still fall for it?

You'll get plenty of spam to a hotmail address, but MS have installed some pretty good junk mail filters that trap the vast majority.

Since I signed up for MySpace (bad move I know, I only visit the site a couple of times) I've been getting tons of junk hitting my Gmail box, but it all goes into the junk mail folder, I check this folder once a week to make sure no genuine mail has fallen in there but it's only happen a couple of times in two years, similarly, I've only had a couple of spams hit my inbox over that time.

I'm surprised that Acx's ISP don't clear the spam folders out to save disk space, because extrapolate those numbers across a couple of thousand customers and you've got a hell of a lot of wasted space...
