It seams that trying to get a passenger plane into space isn't enough for our Richard Branson he is now into this click here

Give him a few more years and he just might solve the worlds energy problems.

If somebody could just invent something to harness hotair. Install in Westminster, Whitehall, Whitehouse and Boardrooms (just to mix it up an not start with a U U) .... sorted! (to quote some one off the telly)

Thank God there wasn't so much minutia critique when people such as Thomas Telford was about.

  DippyGirl 02:11 07 Apr 11

Ah... but Telford, Brunel, Wallis, Babbage et al "did" rather than just "talk"

Branson is a serial entrepreneur, and he's generally successful, unlike Alan Sugar, who made lots of crap products very cheaply, with the odd success thrown in (PCW 8256) to keep his company afloat.

Dont think I actually slighted RB - quite the opposite
My "swing" was at the "movers and shakers" that talk a good job

such projects would never get off the ground. It is people like him, spending their money on projects like this that may advance man's ability to survive the future.

He is prepared to throw money at Projects at the edge of possibility, with only the vaguest chance of a return, and sometimes the spin-offs are unimaginable.
